Quarzite /Porphyre

Quarzites are fine to medium-sized metamorphic rocks defined with quartz contents of 98% or more. They are also characterized by their color. Frost resistance and resistance to environmental influences (wear, abrasion and compression) are guaranteed, which makes these materials suitable for outdoor use.

Porphyre are volcanic rocks which have large crystals in a fine-grained soil. One distinguishes between quartz-rich and quartz-poor porphyries. Depending on the building minerals, the color can vary from reddish, brownish to grayish.
